Italian born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Galasso developed his creativity from and early age with an apprenticeship at the age of 15. After finishing is apprenticeship At the age of twenty, he headed home to his native country to study and perfect his knowledge of hair. With a natural flair for style and an insatiable desire to create, Galasso steered his career on to the fashion runways. Working with well known designers, Galasso was responsible for creating new looks to compliment the ever changing fashion trends. During his time in Italy Frank was proud to head the design team for Gianni Versace's runway shows.

In the midst of a US job, Frank fell in love with Los Angeles and after working with Versace for 5 years Galasso decided to relocate. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Galasso has established himself as one of Los Angeles premiere colorists and stylists where he continues to create and transform new ideas. His clientele list nothing less than impressive; for his services are sought after by top actors, directors, producers, writers, and executives, as well as the general public who are in the know.

After tenures at Los Angeles two top salons, Frank launched frank.studio in 1999- an innovative marriage of contemporary art, fashion, hair and beauty.
