About Scott Warren Chmelar

Chmelar, aka Warren Scott, is a native of Mentor, Ohio. Originally, Chmelar pursued a career as an Artist studying at the Cleveland Institute of Art. In 1980 Chmelar tried his hand in the art of the beauty business and found his niche. He soon became Artistic Director of Illusion Unlimited, an Advanced Training Academy in Cleveland, then went on to represent major haircoloring manufacturers on stage as a platform artist in hair shows throughout the U.S., teaching advanced haircutting and haircoloring. Chmelar regularly travels throughout Europe to study with fellow masters in the industry.

Chmelar holds the equivalent of a Masters and Doctorate degree in hair coloring, having received board certification as both an American Board of Certified Haircolorist (BCH) and an International Certified Haircolorist (ICH).
