Pamper yourself while helping others at a MedSpa Day & Spiritual Salon to benefit abused women and children. Replenish Your Body & Soul Day is set for Saturday, May 1 at the new Fountain of Youth MedSpa in West L.A. and will offer a menu of youth-enhancing spa treatments and classes at a special price for the whole day.

The event will benefit the USC Violence Intervention Program and Rape Crisis Center, a facility that serves women and children who have been witness to, or victims of abuse. Help the Center and have whole day of healing luxuries for you or Mom at a cost of $75, a value of up to $200. Reservations are required.

Women may choose from two mini spa treatments such as massage, facial, micro-dermabrasion and energy healing -- Plus a roster of classes including yoga, Zen meditation and Tantra. A tea tasting will be hosted by Rena Shah of the renowned Chado Tea Rooms in Los Angeles and Pasadena.

The event will take place at the Fountain of Youth MedSpa (11687 National Boulevard at Barrington) from 9 am to 5 pm. The Fountain is a world class MedSpa just opened in West LA.

The Fountain blends the latest youth-enhancing medical techniques including lasers, photofacials and Botox with ancient rejuvenation techniques from yoga to herbal skin care. It provides patrons with a non-clinical, pampering spa environment to replenish body and spirit while being introduced to the Fountain's philosophy of inner health and outer beauty.

"Women and children are all too frequently the victims of violence in Los Angeles and throughout the world, " said Carey Ann Strelecki, who is hosting the event with the Fountain of Youth MedSpa. "When we had the opportunity to create a project that would make a difference to abuse victims while providing a day for women to rejuvenate from their often frantic, exhausting lives, it seemed like a natural."
