Silhouette Studio for Women opens in Ramona, California
The 30-45 minute circuit work-out is geared toward women who have been intimidated by the gym atmosphere in the past. Anxiety about not fitting in or being unable to physically do what an instructor asks keeps most American women out of fitness centers. At Silhouette Studio, those fears are addressed. By using a newly engineered line of equipment by Fit Express, the participants work out is a combination of hydraulic resistance machines and cardiovascular stations set up in interval.
Hydraulic equipment (no changing weights) means that getting sore is unusual and getting hurt is almost impossible. This is because each participant can go at her own pace and still get a great workout. The facility Taking on national chains such as Curves and 24-Hour Fitness, Silhouette Studio is "Fitness for Women by Women". Woman-owned and run, it's a work-out and a social event. Members chat, network and sweat together on cutting-edge equipment in a studio that has more than a touch of elegance.
